Hi, my name is Darryl Lai and I was born in the beautiful Pacific Northwest in Portland, Oregon. I attended school in Corvallis, Oregon at Oregon State University where I majored in Marketing, Finance and International Business with a minor in New Media Communications.
It all started with the web. With the web came opportunities for a kid like me to learn and flourish at my own pace. Fortunately, that pace was fast.
I taught myself HTML at age 12, made my first profit from buying and selling on eBay at 16, and started shooting photo and video at 20. These things defined what I was to study and do in college.
I’ve taken my hobby into something bigger and worked doing web development, writing and video production for the university and continued this focus into my future career while focusing on the broader impact marketing in the digital environment.
